The Glass Castle

I was probably supposed to post my thoughts about how I thought the book would go before I read the book but it's a little late so I'm just going to write this now...

Anyways, originally I had high hopes for the glass castle I was expecting adventure and tragedy but I never suspected they'd come in such large amounts. What I was expecting was a story of a girl and her family's travels. What I found was what I was expecting, but to the extreme. Some parts of the book were almost unbelievable. It was hard to think about it as a memoir. I'm glad she turned out successful in the end, she deserves a happy ending, everyone does.
